Finding your one true love is a wonderful experience. It makes you feel happy, satisfied and just giddy all over. It’s an effective drug that takes you in a state of euphoria. However, the process of actually finding the “one” is not as easy as it seems. It requires a lot of “hard work” and dedication. It also requires a lot of courage for someone to enter into a relationship and risk your heart from getting hurt. One thing I’ve learned from one of my friends is to learn to take a chance in love. To actually find love, you must act on it.
Once, she was pretty shy and demure and was just contended on waiting for the right one to come along. But sometimes, waiting can also be tiring. When she got fed up of waiting, she went to this matchmaking service where singles meet in groups and do fun stuff. They were matched based on compatibilities in interests and way of life. She said that the experience was fun and that she did meet a lot of people. Some even became good friends with her. Eventually, she found a guy that she really liked. They were engaged a year after and are soon to tie the knot this June. I’m really happy for her.
