Moderation is the key. Lacking of or having too much of something can be harmful for you. May it be in sports, food, television, reading, exercise, etc. This saying can apply to life in general as well as to the doses of medicine that you take. Medicine or drugs can be very helpful to our health, especially now in this day and age that almost anything could be cured through modern medicine, if taken in moderation.
When abused, prescription drugs can be harmful to our health and may even cause death in some cases. However, taking medicine in small dosages than what was prescribed is not also advisable especially when treating viruses and bacteria. This will only help the virus get immuned to the medicine that you are taking which will only make it difficult for you to get rid of your sickness. This is why, when taking medicine to get well, always do it in moderation or better yet, get the doctor’s prescription and follow it religiously.
