We stayed in an excellent centrally located small Zurich hotel. Walking distance from Central Station buses/trains. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Helpful, friendly staff, with all the facilities you really need. Good value, although at full price rooms are expensive. Didn’t have time to try breakfast (were leaving to ahotel in Rome the day later) but minibar and lobby bar drinks were sensibly priced. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Zurich on business or for pleasure. Also when we went about a month later we used Europe Cities services to book a hotel in Barcelona. We were also happy and enjoyed our stay very much.

Some people dream of traveling in Europe. I can name a lot of people who would probably die just to be able to live there. Anyway, if ever you’d get the chance to go to this wonderful place, I suggest that you first learn of the places that you would like to travel to. There are lots of tourist attractions here and deciding on the spot what places to go can make a person crazy. To help, here are some places I can suggest: Acropolis, Eiffel Tower, The Roman Coliseum, Edinburgh Castle, Big Ben, La Sagrada Familia, Cathedral Notre Dame, Tower Bridge and St. Michaeliskirche.

For first timers, it’s probably a good idea to get package tours. There are lots of travel agencies that can book you to the best Venice Hotels, Hotels Rome, Paris Hotels and Amsterdam Hotels. They can also arrange the different destinations like museums, Churches, castles and other spots that you can go to without the hassle of lining up in long queues and figuring out how to go there. Going to the place of your dreams can prove to be the best experience of your life, however, not going there prepared can make it a nightmare.

My husband and I went to Germany last week. First, we stayed in one of those Berlin Hotels that some of my friends keep talking about. While staying there, we went to visit the TV tower, the Brandenburg Gate, the Berliner Dom and other cultural spots. However, we encountered problems like not having the right to drive around at the start of our trip. Not being a German citizen, obviously, we were not authorized to drive in Germany. We were told that we still need to have an international driver’s license. After getting the required license and renting a car, our trip went sailing smoothly.

Afterwards, we went to Munich. We were not able to stay there very long to visit the landmarks and tourists spots since we don’t have much time. But I can tell that the place was wonderful. Even the Munich Hotels and restaurants are nice to look at. From there, we went to Frankfurt to visit my husband’s uncle. Their house was under renovation so we had to stay in one of the Frankfurt Hotels, which I don’t mind the least because staying there is heavenly. After visiting some of the other tourists spots (they are too many to mention and too hard to pronounce). We decided to go home since my husband still has to go back to work and being away for a long time could mean trouble. To bad, I wish I could have practiced my German more. Vielleicht ein andermal!

After a weekend in an island called Boracay, it’s now time to go home and leave the paradise. We have a few hours left to do a little bit of shopping for souvenirs. It was very unlikely but I did saw some Motorcycle DVDs in one of the stores that we went in. This was a perfect present for my dad as he is really into motorcycles. We also got a good number of key chains, desk displays and shirts with the island as their theme.

We boarded on a speed boat, the only way out of the island, and headed for the airport. As I looked back to the island, I felt a sudden mix of emotions. Being able to visit the island and enjoying it makes me happy but having to leave it makes me feel sad. It would probably take more than a year before I can visit this island again because it costs a lot of money doing so. Despite that, I’m pretty sure that I will go back to this paradise.

Europe is the world’s second smallest continent, though it has a very small land area of 10, 180, 000 square kilometers it is rich in culture and beauty. It is blessed with a lot of natural art works, like its beautiful and spectacular sceneries. Its famous cities as well are blessed with these sceneries and are mostly flocked with tourist from different parts of the worlds. Barcelona is one of the cities in Spain ; it has beautiful beaches, coastlines, churches, museums and the famous Avinguda Diagonal. Some Barcelona hotels are such designed for you to see these views from your designated rooms others are conveniently located near beaches, museums, or churches.

Prague is the capital and the largest city of Czech Republic , and has become one of the hottest tourist spots. The must see places in Prague are, Old Town Square , the Astronomical Clock and the picturesque Charles Bridge . “Italy is the place for honeymooners” my friend Paula said. Paula and his fiancé Michael got married six months ago. They have spent their honeymoon in Italy for a month. Italy they say is a very beautiful and a very romantic place to stay. On their trip, they first visited the City of Venice where they have tried the gondola and stayed on one of those elegant hotels in venice . Then, they went to Rome, where they visited the Vatican Palace and other interesting sites (they are so many to mention). They have stayed for a week in one of the hotels in rome where it is near the palace.

When Paula got back, she told us a lot of stories about her trip. After that hearty conversation she gave us some souvenirs from Italy like shirts and perfumes. She told us that the hotels in italy where they have stayed are not that expensive though they are of high class. That is why she had some money left to buy us some presents. I wish someday I can also go to Italy and experience all the fun that my friend had in her stay there. But before that I should first find someone to marry to better enjoy the trip (I was just kidding).

Uncle Manuel is an engineer. He is often busy with work. There are times that he doesn’t sleep just to finish his work and pass it before the deadline. He seldom has time with his family and friends, more so for his self. Uncle Manuel really works hard for his family that is why I gave me a brilliant idea to give him a break, a time out with his family. He is really good at playing golf and loves travelling, so I decided to give him a Portugal golf holidays for a week. It really wasn’t that expensive and I know he would really appreciate it.

After a week convincing him to file a leave at his office, he finally decided to accept the treat to him. When they went back, he was full of smiles. It was my first time to see him so happy. He told us that he really enjoyed the holiday at Portugal. He played a lot of golf and had tour with his family. Rene and Carlos were very thankful for the thing I did for their dad. As sign of thank you they bought a stuffed toy saying “You’re a blessing”. I found it really cute and for my cousins they really are very thoughtful.

On the summer of 2005 my friend Eric and I went to Hawaii. We really have enjoyed our stay there. There are a lot of things to explore and see. There are also a lot of things to do and try. As for us we have tried Para-sailing, trekking and a lot more. It was indeed a lot of fun. On our first week, we have tried the Maui vacations. It was enjoyable. We have snorkeling and most of all sunbathing. Our skins are beautifully tanned after a few hours of staying under the sun.

After that exciting day in the beach we have tried some excellent tours. Our day started with a 38-mile bike ride along the slopes of Haleakala. It was very tiring though your eyes would have feast of all the beautiful things that you would see. The next thing to do is Whale watching; at the trip they explain all the things and facts about whales. It was not that boring and I really learned a lot. The most exciting was Haleakala Helicopter Tour. We saw the Haleakala crater it was really huge and as well as the other famous coastlines. I am planning to have vacation again there of course with my family.

Last year we went to an island vacation in the Philippines . Our company sponsored the trip. It was our bonus for closing a business deal. The place was really beautiful. There were so many to thing to see and explore. The food they serve is really good. They have various Filipino delicacies and honestly they tasted really good. One of the delicacies that we ate is Fried Frogs. It was really delicious. My friends and I really enjoyed our vacation there. But one problem we encountered is that there was no network coverage for our mobile phones. There were no cell tower locations around the vicinity.

It was really hard for us to communicate with our officemates who were just in Manila . We wanted to visit them and see the other places as well. One of my friends was even panicking because she has to make a call to her parents to inform them that she is alright. Well not all of us were devastated. Some of us enjoyed not having a phone call for a week. It really rested our ears and it gave a very overwhelming feeling. I can never forget my visit there. It was really a very good experience.
