My cousin is really getting on my nerves. First, she asked me to buy her a flash drive for a Christmas present. Now, she’s asking me to buy her things for her assignment in school. At first, I didn’t mind. Actually, helping her was really okay with me. What irritates me is that she also expects me to be the one to actually buy the things for her. Giving money was one thing, but looking for the requirement is another (especially if I don’t have any idea what she’s looking for).

Like for example today, she called me that she needed a level switch, a float switch and a temperature switch. I know what a switch is, but when it comes to special switches, let’s just say it isn’t my cup of tea. Good thing there’s the internet. I found a site which sells this stuff online (Thank God) and asked them to deliver the switches directly to my cousin’s house. You see, even though it irritates me, I still wanted to help. My cousin owes me big time though.

I had a classmate in chem lab. She was designated as my lab partner by my strict professor. Our first period together was disastrous, she almost burned my lab gown and spilled vinegar on my clothes. Surprisingly, we hit it off. We became friends since then and even shared a room in the school dorm. We have many things in common except for her smoking habits. I don’t smoke. I have asthma since I was a kid, and smoking for me is not a very good idea. Unfortunately, she was a smoker, and I can’t stand it.

However, smoking was prohibited in our dorm. My friend was devastated (I was happy that I didn’t have to be a victim of second hand smoke anymore). Luckily for her, another friend of ours introduced her to vaporizers. A vaporizer is a

Once, she was pretty shy and demure and was just contended on waiting for the right one to come along. But sometimes, waiting can also be tiring. She said that the experience was fun and that she did meet a lot of people. Some even became good friends with her. Eventually, she found a guy that she really liked. They were engaged a year after and are soon to tie the knot this June. I’m really happy for her.

Modern Furniture is seen almost everywhere today, from malls, restaurants and homes. They’re of a wide use because they are so versatile, elegant in design and are very durable. This kind of furniture is not also that expensive. So it did not surprise me when the management of our company refurnished all the offices with Modern Furniture. The look of the office really improved. It looked a lot more spacious now. The desks are changed to a brighter shade of blue making it very pleasing to the eyes. The chairs are changed to more classy and comfortable office chairs with matching colors with the desk.

Having Modern Furniture at home is great as well. One of my officemates bought some new furniture for their house. She has changed their living room and bedroom furniture. She bought a set of black sofas and table for her living room giving it a cozier and more elegant look. For the bedroom she bought a queen size bed with a maple-furnish and a side table matching the bed. I would also like to buy some new furniture for our house but I have to save first because all the money I have now is allotted for our house’s renovation.

My friend Erica is really very competitive. She really puts her best foot forward in very thing that she is doing. In very task that is given to her she puts dedication into it. Since we were in grade school, she joins very contest. In Declamation Contest, Quiz and Spelling Bees and every contest her name is listed. More often than not she always wins. She really loves competing and the prestige she gets in winning such. The most recent award she got is a crystal award which she got from winning a research competition.

A lot of course envy her. Sometimes they make gossips about her but never the less it never affects her. She often says that she always joins competitions just for experience. Her purpose is to broaden not only her knowledge but also to develop her skills and talents. Sometimes she even competes with me; well it is her nature so I understand. But being competitive is not always that bad anyway. Now Erica is successful broadcast journalist. All those contest and competitions really helped her in developing her social skills. Though she doesn’t join any competitions and contest anymore, she is now the one organizing them.

When I was in high school, I really love buying lots of stuffs like clothes, shoes, bags, jewelries, accessories and a lot more clothes. I am a current events type of girl and I always wanted to be updated in the current fashion trend. But the thing is, my allowance was never enough for the things that I wanted to buy. So in order to satisfy my never ending quest for fabulous clothes and shoes, I try to find ways to earn extra money. As a sixteen year old, you don’t really have a lot of alternatives in choosing the job you want. Most of us get stuck in accepting Nanny Jobs.

Being a baby-sitter isn’t that bad. It has a lot of perks to go with it like talking over the phone with your friends, watching television and sometimes you also end up eating lots of candies and junk food. You can also get a chance to yell at somebody (please do it only when necessary). Sometimes, when the going gets tough, chances are you will be forced to play with them (please pretend to have fun, always smile at the kid even if you’re body is already aching all over). And when nap time comes, please let the kid/baby sleep before you do. And don’t make unnecessary actions like giving them sleeping pills so that you’ll have you’re peace of mind (I’m just kidding). Anyway, to sum it all up, baby sitting can also be fun. Just enjoy your time with the kid and imagine that the next day, you will be reunited with the dress that you dreaming off.

My cousin just gave birth to her second baby. They are both excited about having another child. Especially that their second baby is a girl. They are planning to have a trip to her in-laws a month after giving birth. But their one year old baby boy is really playful and is really growing fast. It would be hard for them to travel because they would be looking after two babies. She would not be able to attend to her two babies needs.
