My cousin has always wanted a car since she was sixteen but my uncle doesn’t want to give her one. Reasons may be because she is the only child and that times nowadays are unsafe especially for a kid on the road. Fortunately, it seems like my cousin has proven that she is responsible enough because my uncle has finally decided to give her a car for her 18th birthday. He bought the car yesterday and was about to apply for Auto Insurance Plans. The only problem is he doesn’t have any idea about Insurance Coverage for Cars especially for teen drivers.
A friend who works for an insurance company was kind enough to give us advice on the matter. He told us that since teens are regarded as risky drivers, rates charged for insurance policies are often higher especially if the teen applies for his own insurance. He told us that we could get Better Car Insurance Rates if we would make my cousin take driver’s ed in her school. Insurance companies give discounts if the teen applying has finished the course. My uncle agrees with the idea, not only to pay less for the insurance but he also thought that the course would be a big help for my cousin.
