Outer Banks are long string of narrow barrier islands of the coast of North Carolina. Others call it the “land of beginnings” for these is were Europe first tried to colonize America and where the law of gravity was defied through the invention of the airplane. A land full of history and grandeur, and blessed with the most wondrous beaches and cites. One of the most beautiful beaches that most people flock during holidays or summer is the Carova Beach.
If you want to explore the islands’ history you may want to visit Corolla or the Wright Brothers National Memorial and Elizabethan Garden. If you are having a vacation with your kids you may want to visit the some wildlife refuges, reserve and preserves. Some of the most suggested places are the Alligator River, Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge and Buxton Woods.
