Literature is the subject that I hate the most. I really am not that fond of reading poems and stories that is why my imagination is not that wide for writing such. So when I was in college I really had a hard time in making poems. It was our requirement in our English 3 class which us particularly Basic English and Spanish literature. I hate it so much that sometimes I do not attend my classes. I really am not that fond of reading or listening to such writings. Once I was actually having a hard time in writing one so searched the net and found out about literature mailers.

It is quite good, discovering this kind of thing. They mail you some literature pieces which were made by pretty good literary writers. The time when our professor asked us to pass a poem about what the world is for us, I immediately inquired of there services. A day after I inquired, I already received the poem about the said topic. When I passed the poem my professor was amazed though he never suspected that some other person did it. I do know that cheating is bad but I would rather do it because I do not want to be scolded by parents when I fail the subject.

One thing that I can say about myself is that I’m a big spender. I like buying stuff and if ever you take me to the mall, it is guaranteed that I will buy something for myself. I’m impulsive and I sometimes buy things that I don’t really need or don’t even use at all after buying them. Some things just end up in my cabinet and I sometimes even forget that I even bought them. I am often scolded by mom because of my attitude. I reason out that I am only in my early twenties and I am only enjoying my youth (lame excuse, I know) and I’d eventually change in time.

But even if I’m impulsive and a big spender and whatsoever, one thing that you cant expect me to just rush in buying is the television. Aside from Harry Potter, taking tours and shopping, I also love staying at home and just watch lots and lots of television series and dvd’s. And being one that loves to stay in front of the TV, it is just expected that I don’t go impulsive in buying one. I plan to buy a new lcd tv and I’ve been reading a lot of lcd tv reviews for tips and suggestions. I also made it a resolution that I won’t enter an appliance store until I know what I want (just to make sure that I won’t go impulsive again. See? Who says I can’t change? Not totally but still, it’s a start.

As a Productions Engineer of a chemical manufacturing company, I really have a lot of things to do. Often times I have to attend company meetings to tell all the reports for all the factories in my designated area. I also have to do field works, which includes checking on all the factories and as well as the warehouses. I also have to go to other countries for conferences. It is really very tiring sometimes. So when the CEO of the company decided to have a TANDBERG Video Conferencing System, I was really relieved. I immediately sensed that work would now be a bit easier for me.

Actually it was true; work really became easy after the company have put up the new system. One time a conference should be held in Kuala Lumpur but because of our video conferencing system I don’t have to travel all the way to Malaysia. I viewed the conference on our video conferencing system and I was also able to record the conference. It was really convenient because I can watch the video all over again to take note all of the important things said in the conference. The new system is really good because we can save our time easily.

Uncle Manuel is an engineer. He is often busy with work. There are times that he doesn’t sleep just to finish his work and pass it before the deadline. He seldom has time with his family and friends, more so for his self. Uncle Manuel really works hard for his family that is why I gave me a brilliant idea to give him a break, a time out with his family. He is really good at playing golf and loves travelling, so I decided to give him a Portugal golf holidays for a week. It really wasn’t that expensive and I know he would really appreciate it.

After a week convincing him to file a leave at his office, he finally decided to accept the treat to him. When they went back, he was full of smiles. It was my first time to see him so happy. He told us that he really enjoyed the holiday at Portugal. He played a lot of golf and had tour with his family. Rene and Carlos were very thankful for the thing I did for their dad. As sign of thank you they bought a stuffed toy saying “You’re a blessing”. I found it really cute and for my cousins they really are very thoughtful.

On the summer of 2005 my friend Eric and I went to Hawaii. We really have enjoyed our stay there. There are a lot of things to explore and see. There are also a lot of things to do and try. As for us we have tried Para-sailing, trekking and a lot more. It was indeed a lot of fun. On our first week, we have tried the Maui vacations. It was enjoyable. We have snorkeling and most of all sunbathing. Our skins are beautifully tanned after a few hours of staying under the sun.

After that exciting day in the beach we have tried some excellent tours. Our day started with a 38-mile bike ride along the slopes of Haleakala. It was very tiring though your eyes would have feast of all the beautiful things that you would see. The next thing to do is Whale watching; at the trip they explain all the things and facts about whales. It was not that boring and I really learned a lot. The most exciting was Haleakala Helicopter Tour. We saw the Haleakala crater it was really huge and as well as the other famous coastlines. I am planning to have vacation again there of course with my family.

My friend Erica is really very competitive. She really puts her best foot forward in very thing that she is doing. In very task that is given to her she puts dedication into it. Since we were in grade school, she joins very contest. In Declamation Contest, Quiz and Spelling Bees and every contest her name is listed. More often than not she always wins. She really loves competing and the prestige she gets in winning such. The most recent award she got is a crystal award which she got from winning a research competition.

A lot of course envy her. Sometimes they make gossips about her but never the less it never affects her. She often says that she always joins competitions just for experience. Her purpose is to broaden not only her knowledge but also to develop her skills and talents. Sometimes she even competes with me; well it is her nature so I understand. But being competitive is not always that bad anyway. Now Erica is successful broadcast journalist. All those contest and competitions really helped her in developing her social skills. Though she doesn’t join any competitions and contest anymore, she is now the one organizing them.

Last year we went to an island vacation in the Philippines . Our company sponsored the trip. It was our bonus for closing a business deal. The place was really beautiful. There were so many to thing to see and explore. The food they serve is really good. They have various Filipino delicacies and honestly they tasted really good. One of the delicacies that we ate is Fried Frogs. It was really delicious. My friends and I really enjoyed our vacation there. But one problem we encountered is that there was no network coverage for our mobile phones. There were no cell tower locations around the vicinity.

It was really hard for us to communicate with our officemates who were just in Manila . We wanted to visit them and see the other places as well. One of my friends was even panicking because she has to make a call to her parents to inform them that she is alright. Well not all of us were devastated. Some of us enjoyed not having a phone call for a week. It really rested our ears and it gave a very overwhelming feeling. I can never forget my visit there. It was really a very good experience.

I am currently working at a construction firm as one of the architects. Most of the times we give design the different buildings and infrastructures that the firm builds. A year ago I took up some classes about interior designing to broaden the scope of my field. It was really a lot of fun for me. After that my boss gave me client who is a very prominent person in the fashion industry. My client asked me to design her new Designer Kitchens at her vacation house in Miami . I was very excited on the new task they have given me.

A week later my design team works on the kitchen. We were told by the client to make the kitchen stylish, spacious and most of all it must have a perfect design that would fit the atmosphere of the house as well as the surroundings. Adding much to the thrill, we have to finish it in a week. The whole team worked day and night just to finish the project. After a week of hardship the kitchen was already complete. Our client was very satisfied about it. Now I am forward to more designer jobs. It really challenges the creative part of me.

Grandma Polly loves coffee. She goes to the coffee shop everyday, sometimes she even goes to Starbucks to buy her favorite espresso. Grandma cannot go through the day without drinking coffee. She is a coffee addict because she drinks almost ten mugs of coffee a day. Her doctor asked her to lessen her coffee intake but she never followed the doctor’s advice. A month later, grandma had a heart attack because of too much caffeine in her blood. The doctor advised her to drink Uji Matcha. This time she followed the doctor’s suggestion.

At first she does not want the taste of green tea. She said that it does not taste good. So my mother asked our neighbor who is a Japanese to prepare the tea for us. Lee our neighbor has added milk and sugar to Grandma’s tea. It gave an aromatic essence and it looked really delicious. At first she was very hesitant to drink it. After a few minutes of convincing her to sip some of it, she finally had drunk the whole cup of tea. Grandma told us that it tasted really good. Now she is used to drinking tea. She even asked Lee to teach him how to prepare her own drink.

South America is probably one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world because of its rich culture, adventure activities and natural beauty. This continent is probably under rated but it has some of the best places to visit in the world. Buenos Aires would be on top of my list because it seems like a European city in the south. The Obelisk here is a great structure that is worth seeing personally. Standing over 200 feet from the ground, this historical is a huge part of the Argentinean history.

If you are up for some mysterious adventure, the Easter Island is for you to see. Here you can see the Moai which is a set of large stone statues that are believed to be thousands of years old. Lake Titicaca is South America’s largest fresh water lake and it is considered to be sacred and believed to be the birthplace of civilization. Patagonia on the other hand, is a paradise like place in Argentina because of its amazing and extraordinary beauty. When you visit this place Perito Moreno something you shouldn’t miss.
