My best friend got married three years ago. She married our high school classmate. They are now living at San Diego , California because her husband has a car dealership business at San Francisco . One day her husband told him that they would to San Francisco so that he would have a better access of his business. But they both have a problem. It is so hard to move if you have a two year old boy and a seven month old baby girl. They also have lots stuff and some pieces of antique furniture. It is such a headache she said. One day they heard about a relocation company that would help people or families to move from one place to another. They even offer mortgages and house insurance for there costumers.

The company found them a house that is near her husband’s business. The house has five rooms, a large garden space and a pool. There are a lot of spaces for their kids to play on. The movers were also very careful with their stuff especially their antique furniture. Now they are already in San Francisco and their baby girl is celebrating her first birthday. Having a lot of space in their new home, they can now have the party at their own backyard. She also said that their boy is having already some swimming lesson with his father. Well moving out is not that bad after all.

My cousin just gave birth to her second baby. They are both excited about having another child. Especially that their second baby is a girl. They are planning to have a trip to her in-laws a month after giving birth. But their one year old baby boy is really playful and is really growing fast. It would be hard for them to travel because they would be looking after two babies. She would not be able to attend to her two babies needs. First they planned to hire a nanny but the nanny isn’t used to traveling. They planned to cancel the trip but their neighbor told them about britax regent.

The britax regent is the solution for parents to keep their child in a harnessed child restraint for as long a possible. It has extra thick comfort foam for children 1 year and up from 22 to 80 pounds. They eventually have no choice so they bought it. At the trip their baby boy did not make a lot of trouble. The trip really went easy for them. They all enjoyed the trip. Her in-laws were very amazed on how she handled the babies. Well if they only about the trick that they did.

My friend really loves traveling. In a year she travels 20 different countries. Since she was a child her parents brings her to their business trips so traveling became a part of her life. Her passion for traveling really gave her the best opportunities of her life. She once went with his father to Chicago . Her father gave her a chance to manage their Chicago real estate company. Well she never really wanted to manage it. She doesn’t want to disappoint her father so she tried her best to manage it. One day she met a client who is an owner of a big publishing company. One of the magazines their producing is a travel guide magazine. When the guy knew that she loves traveling, she offered her to be the editor of his travel guide magazine. She accepted the job that their client offered.

A month a later, she went to the Caribbean to find the most fabulous resorts and vacation houses. There she met her fiancé. The man is a business tycoon. He has an oil and car company in the Middle East . Well he really is rich. After a year of being steady they got married. Because of traveling she discovered her talent in writing and she is now a famous writer of books and magazines about traveling. She also has a very gorgeous and rich husband who really loves her a lot. My last news about her is that she is already pregnant.

I’ve been watching a new series in The CW and it is called Gossip Girl. It is about a girl (Gossip Girl, duh?) who writes about the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite particularly Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf. Serena is a carefree and elegant girl who lives on one of those fine New York Hotels while Blair Waldorf is the prim and proper Audrey Hepburny type of girl. The series is very intriguing. I think one thing that helped create the intrigue in the show is that it is situated in New York (being the world’s most intriguing city).

New York according to Travel and Leisure is the World’s best city. It has an Official Visitor Information Center which offers free maps, brochures and information from New York’s top tourist attractions to New York Hotels and restaurants. There is something for everyone in this city (for the rich and the not so rich) and if ever you have problems on where to stay, the city has a wide range of New York Hotels for you to choose from. Top Hotels are the New York Marriott Marquis Times Square, The Plaza Hotel, Hilton New York, The Westin New York, and the W New York Times Square. Top tourist attractions that you must not fail to visit in New York City are the Time Square, Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Metropolitan Museum of Art, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York Yankees & Yankee Stadium, Empire State Building, Greenwhich Village, and Antique Café. Wheew! That’s a lot of places to go to. And while you’re at it, you might as well visit the Upper East Side. Who knows? You might stumble into Serena or Blair and if you’re lucky, even Gossip Girl.

I once worked at an accounting firm as an experienced associate. The schedules are hectic and there’s a lot of work to be done. Thank goodness that my seniors are nice and so the job seems less stressful. One particular person that I will always remember because of her kindness and crazy antics is my boss Arlene. She is sometimes called “Top Six” because she placed sixth in the board exams. She’s really good at her work but she eventually resigned from the Company because she wanted to migrate to London. I’ve heard that there are lots of great jobs in london. And so, when she told me her decision, I was sure that she would find one that would suit her.

London is the capital city of United Kingdom. It also happens to be the largest city in England and so there are lots of london jobs out there. She applied for different jobs in london and finally, after months of searching, she found the perfect job, Arlene eventually accepted a job in one of those accounting firms (I forgot the name of the company). Her work there is basically similar to her work here. The main difference is that she will be working in London which is her ultimate dream. I’m really happy for her.

I’ve learned only recently that I have Spanish blood. My mom told me that my dad’s grandfather was pure Spanish so that makes me one-eighth Spanish (i think?). Anyway, I got a little bit curious because I don’t know much about that part of my family’s history. Who knows? I may even have some Spanish relatives out there that I don’t know of. It’s a good thing that we went to a place somewhere in Costa Rica. That was just two months ago. It turns out that the place (Playa Tamarindo) offers not only surfing lessons but also Spanish immersion language courses as well.

We really enjoyed our stay there. At first, we went there just to see the view and just mingle with other friends and maybe get a tan. But then, we heard that the place was famous for its quality of waves and we thought that it would be a shame if we would not try to surf. And as what I have said earlier, the surfing classes also include Spanish classes. The Spanish lessons are a little bit harder especially for me who doesn’t know any Spanish word before this. I got through all twenty lessons but I don’t think I can carry a decent Spanish conversation with anyone. Ugh! I’m not really good at language anyway.

Spring is my favorite season of the year because it is a time where nature shows its best colors. This is also the time when I make my self busy taking care of my beautiful garden. Though I’m still too busy with my job, I managed to buy my gardening supplies through online shopping. I bought my fertilizers and seeds from Gardeners Supply and I purchased a hundred bulbs of daffodils from Brecks. Each year, almost all my gardening supplies come from these two brands.

A garden shouldn’t only show great colors during the day time. The beauty of a garden during night time should be as colorful as if it was day time. This is why I give enough attention to the lighting details of my garden. I just bought great lamps from Lamps Plus last year and I think they can still bring a glow to my garden so I don’t think I’d be shopping for lamps this year. Gardening is not only hobby for me but also my way of relieving all the stress I got from work.

The other day, my mom and I were discussing about money. She told me that we I am not getting any younger and if I want to live an easier life ten years from now, I’d better start saving money right now. That means lesser shopping, lesser travels and lesser whims. I told her that I’d eventually save up. But first, I’m just enjoying the joys of having to earn for my own and not depend on my mom for my allowance.

I also told her that she should not worry about me when it comes to money matters. I don’t spend that much. Well, it’s true that I have already reached the credit limit of my credit card but I promise that I’d pay my bills by next month. Anyway, I’m already thinking of ways to put my money to good use. I have plans to invest my money in real estate, maybe in one of those Denver or boulder real estate. I also thought of opening a bank account, or maybe invest in stocks I don’t have concrete plans yet but I hope I’ll think of a great idea soon or my mom won’t stop bugging me.

Whenever I see my friend Michelle, she always mentions that she wanted to visit Copenhagen. She has relatives there and they were inviting her to come to their hometown. She wanted to go because she has never been to Copenhagen before but she just couldn’t find the time. She is a senior marketing officer in her Company and was always occupied with her work. I told her that she should take a break and just grab the opportunity given to her. She was losing a lot of weight because of all the stress and she never get the chance to enjoy and have fun.

Copenhagen is a nice place. It has lots of tourist attractions like the Tivoli Gardens and the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. The place also features castles like Amalienborg Palace where the Royal Family stays during winter and the Rosenborg Castle where the crown jewels are safeguarded by the Royal Guard. It would be a perfect chance for her to discover a new place and at the same time create a stronger bond between her and her relatives.

I was the youngest in the family. I have two half sisters and five half brothers. Since my father died, we always make it a point to keep in touch and see how things are going with our lives. However, we don’t get to talk much nowadays because they already have a family of their own. Well, I guess it is more of my fault because I too am busy with my work and social life and I don’t get to visit them often.

But this year, I plan to bridge the gap between us. Well, between me and my brothers first. How? By buying them Super Bowl 2008 Tickets! You know how crazy guys can get over sports. Who would not want to take time off and watch their favorite sport live in action? I know its wrong to bribe my brothers with those tickets to make up for my faults, but hey, if that’s what it takes to get us closer again, why not?
